The Head of Atatürk Supreme Council for Culture, Language and History Prof. Dr. Derya Örs mentioned that in Turkey the collaboration level between the scientific associations was unsatisfactory. He said: ‘It is important to develop this type of collaboration and relationship between the Universities and the cultural associations which are servicing directly as public institution. Örs mentioned his pleasure by the study they are going to perform with Gazi University which is one of the foremost universities. Örs stated: ‘In our country performing a study on the problems of the pollution of the language and historical understanding, being able to do the researches on our cultural and civil problems being able to share these with public opinion and receiving positive results on behalf of the country and the nation, we are signing this protocol.

Africa and the Mediterranean basin is one of the most important part of our cultural heritage but since the Western Countries sees these lands as exploiting fields, the required importance is not given, said Örs. He believes that with Africa Expansion which is one of the cultural diplomacy activity, this deficiency will be fulfilled. TRT General Director Şenol Göka spoke as: ‘The collaborative work that our scientific institutions perform and TRT’s contribution to this, is pleasing for both us and our country. ‘On the occasion of these studies, we will transmit our country and people in the best way to Africa, to the Mediterranean Basin and to the Middle East with your favour. ‘He said. The Head of Turkish History Society Refik Turan thanked for the shareholders and said: ‘Union is strength. ’We were one and we have become three and the production that the third will make will be perfect. In Turkish 2300-year history, we are faced with a wide range of culture and history. This protocol will reveal a history that is under ashes.
