III. BUSINESS   IDEA  COMPETITION

Dear Gazi University Students and Graduates ,

By Gazi University Technology Transfer Office, with the main sponsor HALKBANK, III. Business Idea Competition is being held. The competition held for the  third time this year, aims to encourage  the young entrepreneurs who have got technological and innovational business idea by obtaining them financial support  and the environment to help them for making their business ideas come true.

With the support given to the winning projects, technology based innovative business set up is targeted.

To the competition, any graduate, post-graduate or doctorate student, applicants who have received one of these degrees;  bachelor’s, either master’s or doctoral degree for 4 years ago at most before the pre-application date, can apply.

Each project team will have a leader. The application  can be either  individually or with  the leader who fulfil the conditions as being a Gazi University Student or Gazi University Graduate and the team consisting of maximum 4 people, can apply.

The leader will follow  up the formal process about the project  and will be accepted as the authority. A team  or a person can’t participate in the competition with more than one project idea.

The competition’s great prize is 80.000TL., The runner-up prize is 40.000 TL., The third prize is 20.000 TL.

Moreover the finalist teams will find a lot of opportunities as entrepreneur education, the assignment of a free office area at techno-park, supports for the utilization of AR-GE supports, the support of the intellectual property and the support of coaching.

The application deadline of the competition is the 29^th of MAY, 2015. We are waiting for all our students and graduates who provide the necessary conditions.
