Prof. Dr. Berrin Günaydın, lecturer at Gazi University Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimation, attended 37. World Medicine and Health Games held in Maribor, Slovenia and ran in 400 and 1500 meter races for our country and brought 2 bronze medals to Turkey. Prof. Günaydın, who got this achievement for our country, stated that there is no age to do sports and one should allocate time for themselves in their academic lives. Günaydın emphasized that people should save some time to do these kinds of activities in the intensive tempo of academic life and she also made a presentation on ‘Acute Effect of Moderate Exercise on Malondyaldehyde Levels in Smoker and Non-smoker Subjects’ with Prof. Dr. Banu Çaycı, who is a lecturer at Department of Medical Chemistry at the International Medicine Symposium.
