Within the scope of TÜBİTAK's "1001-Scientific and Technological Research Projects Support Program," 3 projects from our university were approved for support in the 2nd term of 2024. In this context, the project titled "Studies on the Development of New Soluble Epoxide Hydrolase (Seh) Inhibitors and the Evaluation of Their In Vivo Effectiveness" by Faculty of Pharmacy faculty member Prof. Burcu Çalışkan, the project titled "Multisensory Processing and Temporal Dynamics of Perception in Schizophrenia" by Faculty of Medicine faculty member Assoc. Prof. Hacı Hulusi Kafalıgönül, and the project titled "Development of Reaction Rate Expression for Carbon Dioxide Absorption in Post-Combustion Systems with Amino Acid–Amino Acid Salt Mixture Solutions, Mass Transfer Studies in Baffle-Type Structured Packed Columns, and Absorption Applications" by Faculty of Engineering faculty member Prof. Özkan Murat Doğan have been supported.
Additionally, TÜBİTAK has decided to support two more projects from our university, provided that the deficiencies specified in the scientific evaluation report are addressed. These projects are "Development of the National Disaster Nursing Earthquake Preparedness Plan Based on the Psychological First Aid Experiences of Nurses Caring for Adults Affected by Earthquakes" by Vocational School of Health Services faculty member Assoc. Prof. Nazan Turan and "Development of a New Generation Mirau Interference Microscope with Dynamic Resolution Control Using Designed and Manufactured Adjustable Array Microlenses" by Faculty of Applied Sciences faculty member Prof. Yashar Azizian Kalandaragh.
